Accessibility

Example of the updated colours.
1st row: corporate colours, 2nd row: more accessible colours

For the redesign, the website design had to be analysed for accessibility and implemented with fewer barriers in some areas. This makes it more user-friendly overall, but it is not officially accessible in terms of WCAG criteria.

Colours: The defined corporate colours green and blue presented us with a particular challenge, as they do not meet the WCAG criteria (AA).
The colour palette was expanded to include darker tones.

Fonts: Small font sizes below 16px and the smallest decorative icons were revised to create a more accessible experience.

Website

The website has been thoroughly revised, updated and transferred to a new CMS.
In addition to editorial content reporting on petitions and the foundation's activities, it also provides general information on animal farming.

The structure of the home and subpages was overhauled and strongly structured with new design elements to create a overall better experience.
